Quick & Easy · Texting permissions
How customers choose their texts
Service updates and offers are two separate, optional choices. Neither is a condition of purchase. The public preview below uses the exact disclosure shown in the client portal.
This is the same disclosure and checkbox component used in the signed-in Service Desk. You can inspect the choices here, but this public preview does not collect a mobile number or record consent. Saving requires the customer’s authenticated account.
Customers sign in → open Text preferences → review their account mobile number → independently select service texts and/or offers → acknowledge the linked policies → press Save text preferences.
What happens after saving?
The customer immediately sees an on-screen receipt with the time and selected programs. The Service Desk records the account, mobile number, choices, disclosure version and text, policy links, save action, time, and available request metadata. Consent records are private, not displayed on this page.
While messaging registration is pending, no confirmation text is sent. After an approved campaign and sender are connected, a new enrollment also submits a branded confirmation text with HELP and STOP instructions. Provider acceptance is not labeled as confirmed delivery.
STOP disables both programs for that phone number. START removes the texting block but does not restore either program or grant marketing consent; customers must choose again in the portal. A customer’s initial service inquiry is not a promotional opt-in. Phone, email and chat conversations do not grant promotional permission.
Promotional consent collection does not launch a campaign. Promotional sending remains disabled.
